The Brief
The Future Project is a tech recruitment agency with a distinctly human approach. They wanted a refreshed identity and website that would strengthen their position, especially in the US market, and resonate with startup founders and tech-savvy business owners. The brand needed to feel modern, approachable and people-first, while still maintaining the credibility and professionalism expected in a global tech environment.
The Approach
Whilst we wanted to differentiate from the commonly-used cool medical blues, we were mindful not to step too closely into the green spectrum which is often associated with therapy and wellness brands. So I selected shades of teal for the primary brand colour, balanced with soft off-whites and lilac accents. A premium but calming palette to reassure anxious parents.
A classic serif with a calming and professional look was chosen for the primary typeface, paired with a clean and elegant sans-serif for body text for a trusted meets contemporary look.
Keeping the wordmark name simple and professional, I created a symbol inspired by the idea giving a child a voice - connecting a speech bubble with a bird to reflect care, trust, and the patient-doctor relationship.
The result is a kind and hopeful symbol for a paediatrician, with simple shapes and graceful curves to keep it premium yet approachable.
I designed and built a 5-page Squarespace website (complete with custom 404 page as standard) to showcase Bijan’s expertise, services and personable nature, and provide helpful information about common paediatric health concerns.
