The Brief
The Future Project is a tech recruitment agency with a distinctly human approach. They wanted a refreshed identity and website that would strengthen their position, especially in the US market, and resonate with startup founders and tech-savvy business owners. The brand needed to feel modern, approachable and people-first, while still maintaining the credibility and professionalism expected in a global tech environment.
The Approach
The new logo is designed around momentum and connection. The symmetry of the ‘tf’ brings balance and trust, whilst the bold, curved shapes hint at a linked network. The custom logotype mirrors these soft curves, using lowercase for added warmth and approachability.
From there, I built a bold yet friendly design system - a vibrant colour palette that would allow the brand to flex between playful and professional, paired with a careful mix of typography that combines structured geometry with soft curves and subtle quirks. Playful illustrations bring character without losing credibility, creating a visual language that feels modern, approachable and confidently upbeat.
The old site didn’t capture the energy or clarity the brand wanted, and had a number of accessibility and usability issues, especially on mobile - it wasn’t keeping up with what a young, tech-focused audience expects from a modern digital experience.
I designed and rebuilt the site on Squarespace, creating a clean, single-page layout that feels simple, engaging and full of personality. Clear messaging, a more confident tone of voice and well-structured content make it easy to understand how they work and what they specialise in.
The result is a fresh, human and trustworthy experience that reflects who they are and will help them stand out in a crowded recruitment market.
