The Brief
Crafted had a functional but basic website that lacked the depth and polish they needed to reflect the quality of their work. They wanted help building out their copy and brand voice, creating a modern, uplifting and engaging site with an updated identity to match. The new site needed to do justice to their projects, reflect the thoughtfulness behind the name, and serve as a platform that could grow with the studio.
Our Approach
The site has been rebuilt with a clean, modern design that puts the work front and centre.
Custom code and interactive features like project rollovers, subtle parallax effects and responsive micro-interactions add for an engaging digital experience, without overwhelming the content.
The tone of voice is professional yet very personable, ensuring both residential and commercial clients feel inspired and reassured from the first the click. This is echoed in the simple, geometric typeface and soft neutrals in the palette.

The previous logo was simple and modern, but it didn’t work well across all placements, lacking standout on signage in particular, and the logotype had no ownable element or reference to the business.
The redesign adds strength and clarity to the name whilst retaining an openness that the client liked from the original design. The adapted ‘A’ brings an architectural element to the identity and can be pulled out as a standalone symbol for the brand.

Scope of work included the identity refresh, homepage video edit, and copywriting for the non-project pages. I designed and built five core pages plus 14 beautiful project pages - each crafted to showcase their work and values, with flexible templates ready for future growth.
